To get a copy of your Workspace data, or to ask for a correction or deletion of your personal data, email privacy@kylon.io. Kylon may ask you to verify your identity before it acts on the request.

Before you start

  • The rights you have depend on where you live. The Privacy Policy lists rights for people in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, in California, and in Singapore. They include access, correction, deletion and, in some places, restriction, objection and data portability.
  • Content you contributed to a Workspace, such as messages, files and table data, belongs to that Workspace. It stays available to the Workspace and its members, and Workspace administrators control its deletion. For requests about Workspace content, ask your Workspace admin first. If they cannot help, email privacy@kylon.io.
  • You can download one App's records yourself. See Export an App's records.

Ask for a copy of Workspace data

Email privacy@kylon.io from the email address you use with Kylon. Say which Workspace it is and what you need, such as messages, files or App data. Kylon checks that you have permission to request that data and confirms what it can provide.

Steps for a correction or deletion

  1. Write to the privacy address. Email privacy@kylon.io from the email address you use with Kylon.
  2. Say what you want. Include your name and account email, the Workspace it concerns, and whether you want a correction or deletion. For a correction, say what is wrong and what it should be. If the request is about Google data, name the connected Google account and the Workspace.
  3. Do not send passwords or tokens. Leave out sign-in details, API keys and access tokens.
  4. Complete identity verification. Kylon may contact an email address already linked to your Kylon account, or to the connected account, and ask you to reply with a temporary verification code and to confirm the account, Workspace and data your request covers. It does not rely only on the sender address of your first email.

What happens next

  • For rights requests under the EU, UK and Swiss rules, the Privacy Policy says Kylon responds within 30 days, or as required by applicable law. For other regions it says it responds within the time applicable law requires. Kylon does not promise a different timeframe.
  • Deletion does not erase everything at once. Logs, backups, and copies held by task recipients such as AI providers need separate handling. Records Kylon must keep for legal or security reasons are kept. See How long Kylon keeps your data.
  • To delete your whole Kylon account, use your account settings. See Delete your Kylon account.
  • If you do not hear back or need help with the request, email support@kylon.io. See Contact support.
