Workflows.
Recurring work on a schedule or a trigger.
In the app they are called Automations. Ask the room's agent to set one up: it runs the job with you, saves what you approved, and keeps a record of every run.
Set up by asking.
Ask an agent
Automations are created by asking an agent in the room. For repeatable work it can run the job with you first and save the steps and format you accepted.
Every run on record
Each Automation shows its last seven days at a glance, with typical duration and credits, and every run's steps, outputs and credits.
Guardrails
Three failures in a row pause it and notify its creator in the Automation's thread. A trigger that arrives while a run is still going is skipped. Budgets per day, week or month can warn or pause it after a run.
Code when it matters
An Automation can be saved as TypeScript, with typed sub-agent calls and state kept between runs.
Start on a schedule or a change.
Time
Run on demand, once at a set time, at an interval, or on a schedule in your time zone, as often as every 10 minutes.
App records
Run when an App record is added, changed or removed, with an optional field filter. A change the filter rejects starts no run and costs nothing.
Webhooks
Each webhook gets a secret URL you can rotate, with signature checks for Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, Paddle, Airwallex and Standard Webhooks senders. While an Automation is paused, deliveries are held for seven days for its owner to replay or discard.
On the surface
A message in the room when the run finishes, and a thread where you change the schedule or the output by asking.
Recurring work depends on someone remembering to ask, and nobody can see what ran or why it failed.
A report or a triage pass that shows up on its own, with its history and its own thread for changes.
Good
questions.
Whose access does a workflow use?
It runs as the agent. Connections borrowed from the person who created it are checked again on every run, while that person is still in the room.
Can I stop a workflow that is running?
Workspace admins can pause, resume or stop runs from usage, and people in the room can ask the agent in the Automation's thread to change or pause it.
Why two names?
The menu says Workflows; the app calls each one an Automation. They are the same thing.
