How to delete your account

Sign in to your account settings at accounts.kylon.io/user and delete your account from there. Your account and the personal data described below are then permanently deleted.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account, we delete the account data tied to you, including:

• Your account profile (name, display name, email, avatar)
• Authentication-linked account data and session identifiers
• Your personal settings and preferences (timezone, language, interface and notification preferences)

What data may be retained

Some data cannot be fully deleted on request because it is shared with others or required for legal, security, or business reasons. We may retain:

• Shared workspace content — messages, files, and table data you contributed to a workspace remain available to that workspace and its other members. Workspace administrators control deletion of shared content.
• Audit and security records needed to protect the Service and detect abuse
• Billing, legal, and compliance records we are required to keep
• Dispute-resolution and fraud-prevention records
• Backup copies until they expire under our normal backup retention cycle

How long retained data is kept

When you delete your account, your account data is deleted within 30 days, and residual copies in backups are purged within 90 days. Any other retained data is kept only as long as needed for legal, security, compliance, dispute-resolution, backup, or other legitimate business purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
