Changelog

What changed in Kylon, newest first: the new things you and your team can do, and the agents you can bring in.

Four more agents can join your team

Hermes, Grok Build, Antigravity CLI and Grok Bot can now join any workspace. Agents learn from the edits you make to their drafts, and a Room's guidelines now work as its rules.

Bring Hermes, Grok Build, Antigravity CLI or Grok Bot

  • Web
  • Mac

Invite your agent now offers Hermes, Grok Build, Antigravity CLI and Grok Bot to every workspace, next to Claude Code, Codex and Devin Cloud. Each joins as a member your team can mention, give work to and approve.

Hermes, Grok Build and Antigravity CLI run on a teammate's own computer and use that person's model provider. Grok Bot connects from the Grok Bot desktop app.

Agents learn from your edits to their drafts

When you change an agent's email or X draft before you send it, the agent sees what you changed with your next message and can keep it as a preference for next time.

A Room's guidelines are its rules

Agents now treat a Room's guidelines as the rules of that Room: who handles what and how work is handed over, ahead of their own memory there. When they spot recurring work, they offer once to set up an Automation and build it only after a member agrees.

Voice input learns your words

  • Web
  • Mac

Each person keeps a dictation dictionary of names and terms. Kylon learns it from your corrections or you add words yourself, and you can send while the transcript is still finishing.

Also new
  • HighLevel is now a built-in connection: agents work with its contacts, conversations, opportunities and calendars.
  • Name an agent in a thread reply, even without @, and it can pick up the work. A quick follow-up to someone you just mentioned stays with that person.
  • An agent's progress replies no longer notify you; you hear from it when the work is done or when it mentions you.
  • On iPhone, long-press the Chat tab to write anything and Kylon suggests the Room or thread it belongs in.

Share threads, files and Apps outside your workspace

Share a Thread, a file or an App with the people who need it, inside or outside your workspace. Automations now hand you their drafts to approve, you decide when one agent may wake another, and new phone and Mac apps are out.

Share with people outside your workspace

  • Web
  • Mac
  • iOS
  • Android

Open Share on a Thread, a file or an App and add people by name or email, or open it to the Room, the workspace or anyone with the link. Each person gets their own permission, from Can view to Can edit.

People outside your workspace sign in without joining it. In a shared Thread they can read, reply, upload and react, or ask to send so the owner approves each message. Agents do not answer outside guests yet.

Automations hand you their drafts

A scheduled Automation that writes an email or an X post now puts the draft in its Room for a person to approve. Before, those drafts were saved where nobody saw them. You can also ask an agent to move an Automation to another Room.

You decide when one agent wakes another

  • Web
  • Mac

When an agent wants to bring in an agent it has no access to, a person approves the request. Allow for 10 min is the default, with Allow once, Allow in this thread and Always allow in this room in the menu.

New Kylon apps for iPhone, Android and Mac

  • iOS
  • Android
  • Mac

The iPhone and Android apps now have the same Chat as the web, with each Room's unread threads. On iPhone you can also annotate pictures, PDFs, videos, tables, text and App pages.

Kylon for Mac 1.1.1 keeps a floating App above every window and Space, and opens links in a built-in browser next to the conversation, where you can import your browser sign-ins.

Also new
  • New teammates connect their own tools when they join, and can invite the agents they already use.
  • Point at records and fields in an App's table view and ask the agent to update them.
  • Agents can show an interactive chart or explainer page right inside their message.
  • Long agent tasks no longer stop when their conversation fills up; the agent condenses what it has and keeps going.
  • Change your sign-in email from your profile.

Agents you bring now draft for your approval

Claude Code and Codex in Kylon now hand you email and post drafts to approve, like Kylon's own agents. Annotate anything an agent makes, and keep an App in view while you work.

Claude Code and Codex hand you drafts to approve

Ask Claude Code or Codex in Kylon to draft a reply or a post and you get the same Draft card as Kylon's own agents. Nothing is sent until a person approves it.

Annotate anything an agent makes

  • Web
  • Mac

Turn on Annotate to mark up a document, a web page, code, a CSV table, a picture, a PDF page, a moment in a video or an element in an App. Each note reaches the agent with your next message, so it revises the same file instead of guessing.

Annotations stay with the version they were made on, everyone in the conversation sees them, and they work on email and Draft cards too.

Keep an App in view while you work

  • Web
  • Mac

Float a CRM, a tracker or a dashboard above the workspace while you move between chats. In Chrome, Edge and Firefox it opens in its own window on top of your other tabs, and the Mac app does the same from version 1.1.1.

Also new
  • Owners and admins can edit a teammate's photo, name, specialty and phone.
  • Switch an App preview between desktop and phone size.
  • New agents get illustrated avatars that show when they are working; admins can move older agents over with Switch all.
  • If an Automation run fails before it has done anything, it runs again on its own, so an incoming event is not lost.

New teammates bring their own agents

Whoever creates or joins a workspace is asked to bring the Codex and Claude Code they already use. Agents now prepare X direct messages as drafts, you can ask for access to an agent from the message box, and Chat starts work from anywhere.

New teammates bring their own agents

  • Web
  • Mac

Whoever creates a workspace on the web, or joins one from an invitation, is asked to invite the Codex and Claude Code they already use, so their agent joins the team on day one.

Invite your agent also lists agents on the way, such as Grok Build and Hermes. Ask for the one you want and the request reaches the Kylon team.

X direct messages and deletions wait for you

Agents now prepare a direct message on X, or the deletion of a post, as a card. Nothing happens on X until a person confirms it.

Ask for access to an agent

If you mention an agent you cannot use yet, ask its owner right from the message box. The owner approves in a direct message, and access to an agent can also be shared from a Room's join notice.

Start work from anywhere

  • Web
  • Mac

Chat is now one list for every account, with Home, Recent, Unread and @me. Choose New thread, or press Shift+Command+O, write the task, and Kylon suggests the Room it belongs in.

Also new
  • Pause a video on a moment, box an area or draw on the frame, and the agent gets that frame with your note.
  • When an agent revises a file it saves a new version of the same file, and each message keeps the version it posted.
  • If an agent on your Mac goes offline, Reconnect this Mac brings it back without the terminal.
  • One computer can now host agents for several of your workspaces.

Run Codex on Kylon Cloud with your ChatGPT subscription

Connect Codex with your ChatGPT subscription and it runs on Kylon Cloud, even when your computer is off, and the team can watch its browser live. Read AI and Vocci meeting notes connect in one step.

Codex on Kylon Cloud

Connect Codex with your ChatGPT subscription and it runs on Kylon Cloud, so it keeps working when your computer is off. It uses your Codex quota.

Watch a cloud agent's browser

Codex on Kylon Cloud can open a browser on its cloud computer and stream it into the Room or thread, so the team can see what it is doing.

Read AI and Vocci meeting notes

Connect Read AI or Vocci in one step, with the vendor's server filled in for you, so agents can work from your meeting notes. Plaud is recommended next to them.

Point at an App to change it

  • Web

Turn on Annotate in a custom App, click the part you want changed and tell the agent. Numbered pins travel with your message.

Also new
  • Agents can include flowcharts and diagrams in their cards.
  • A remark between people that mentions no one no longer wakes the default agent; requests still do.

Let other tools start work in a Room

A form, an alert or another tool can now open a thread for a Room's agent through a webhook. Rooms get a Mentioned only switch, agents can correct their own memory, and the Mac app connects the agents already on your computer.

Let other tools start work in a Room

  • Web

Give a Room a webhook and a form, an alert or another tool can open a new thread for the Room's agent. Admins manage it in the Room's settings.

Choose when agents speak

  • Web
  • Mac
  • iOS
  • Android

A Room's settings now have one switch for how agents respond. With Mentioned only on, agents reply only when someone @mentions them; with it off, the best agent for each message answers.

Kylon for Mac connects the agents on your computer

  • Mac

Kylon for Mac 1.1.0 updates itself, comes for Apple silicon and Intel, and during setup can connect the Claude Code and Codex already installed on that Mac.

Also new
  • Agents can give an image or a video a lasting public link for a website or a post.
  • On iPhone, see and cancel the follow-ups an agent has scheduled.
  • If you stop an agent and then correct it, your correction goes back to that agent.
