An App preview lets you inspect the proposed experience before release. Review it using a few realistic examples, including incomplete information. Visual polish matters, but the main question is whether someone can finish the intended task and understand the result. Learn more: Kylon Apps.

What to do

  1. Open the main screen and follow the most common workflow.
  2. Check labels, required fields and what happens when information is missing.
  3. Review on a small screen and report the exact page and action if something fails.

Test data

Records you create or edit while reviewing a preview are saved in the preview's own copy of the data. They do not change the live App's records. A preview that uses connected services, such as email or another tool, can still send real messages or change records in that tool, so test those actions with care.

Example

Test this event tracker with one complete event and one event missing a date. Check whether both appear clearly and whether the layout fits a phone.
