Mention an Agent in a Room to ask it to work in the thread. Agents have a name and specialty, so choose one suited to the task. Working with Agents.
The tips below are suggestions for writing a useful request, not a guarantee of a particular result.
Include four things
- The result: What should the Agent produce?
- The material: Which file, message or information should it use?
- The audience and format: Who will read it, and what should it look like?
- The constraints: What must it include, avoid or ask you about?
Try this example
Turn the notes in this thread into a checklist for our team meeting. Keep each item short, group it by topic, and mark missing owners as “not assigned.” Show me the draft here.
This gives the Agent a concrete result and explains how to handle missing information.
Start small
For a larger task, ask for an outline or one sample first. Review it, then explain what should change before expanding the work.
For an App, describe the people using it and the task it should help them finish. For recurring work, describe when it should happen and where you want the result.
Add context when needed
If the Agent asks a question, answer the missing point. If it says it cannot open a file or find a resource, check that you supplied the right item and ask what is missing. Do not assume that mentioning a resource means it has been read.
