When a conversation is about a file, App or record, point to that item rather than describe it vaguely. Kylon attaches threads to resources so the discussion can stay in context. A link identifies the item; it should not be treated as proof that the recipient has opened it. Learn more: Rooms and threads.

What to do

  1. Use the relevant item’s link when one is available.
  2. Add a sentence naming the task and the part that matters.
  3. If the recipient cannot open it, ask the owner to check the intended sharing setup.

Example

Please review the introduction in this project brief. The open question is whether the first example is clear to a new user.
