Room names and guidelines help people understand where work belongs. Choose a name based on a team or a project and write a short purpose statement. The naming suggestions below are organizational advice, not a rule that Kylon requires. Learn more: Rooms and threads.

What to do

  1. Use a name teammates will recognize without an explanation.
  2. Write what the Room covers, who owns the work and where key material lives.
  3. Review the purpose when the project changes rather than creating near-duplicate Rooms.

Example

Room: Autumn launch. Purpose: coordinate the launch brief, website review and launch-day checklist. Keep unrelated hiring work in its own Room.
