Break the work into stages that produce something you can inspect, such as an outline, sample and complete draft. Explain the overall objective first so each stage contributes to the same result. Continue in the same thread when the stages belong to one task. Learn more: Working with Agents.

What to do

  1. State the end result and the constraints that apply to every stage.
  2. Ask for one representative section before requesting the whole output.
  3. After reviewing it, say which feedback applies to the remaining sections.

Example

We need a customer guide. First outline the topics, then write one beginner article. After I review that, use the same structure for the other topics.
