Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kylon waitlist, website, and application (together, the “Service”), provided by Pure Reason Inc. (“Pure Reason”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

Our Privacy Policy, available at kylon.io/privacy, describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information, and is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, and able to form a binding contract with us, to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

SMS verification messages

Pure Reason Inc., operator of Kylon, sends one type of text message: a one-time code used to verify that you control the phone number you entered. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

  • Message frequency: one message per verification request you make, so frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Phone verification cannot be completed after you opt out.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email hello@purereason.work.

Consent is separate and optional. It is collected through its own control, unchecked by default, at the point where you enter a phone number, and is never bundled with account creation or acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy, both linked beside that control. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: attempting to disrupt or compromise it; using it to violate the law or the rights of others; uploading malware; reverse engineering it except where permitted by law; or using it to send spam, harass others, or generate content that is illegal, harmful, or deceptive.

Abuse also includes creating multiple accounts or workspaces to claim a trial, promotional credits, or referral rewards more than once; using scripts or other automated means to consume credits beyond ordinary use of the Service; sharing, reselling, or renting access to the Service; paying with a stolen or otherwise unauthorized payment method; and evading usage limits, billing, or an earlier suspension.

Abuse, suspension, and credits

If we identify abuse of the Service, we may suspend or permanently close the accounts and workspaces involved, and we may revoke the trial, promotional, and referral credits held in them. Where the abuse is ongoing, or where advance notice would allow it to continue, we may act without prior notice.

Trial, promotional, and referral credits are granted at our discretion. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not refundable when they are revoked under this section. Credits you have paid for are not revoked for other forms of abuse.

Payment fraud is treated separately. If a purchase is made with a stolen or otherwise unauthorized payment method, or through any other fraudulent or deceptive payment, we may close the accounts and workspaces involved and revoke the credits from that purchase together with any other credits they hold.

We make these decisions reasonably and on the evidence available to us. If you believe we have got it wrong, write to hello@purereason.work and we will review the decision.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service. You grant Pure Reason a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, display, and process that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

AI-generated output

The Service uses AI models to generate output based on your input. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or offensive, and is not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to do so to protect the Service or other users. Where the reason is abuse, the account and credit consequences described in Abuse, suspension, and credits also apply.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pure Reason will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date when we do, and material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
