What is an AI CRM?
A CRM where the software does the record keeping rather than helping a person do it faster. The practical test is who enters the data, what the software can read outside the CRM, and whether a person approves a change before it lands.
Is an AI CRM different from a CRM with AI features?
Yes, and the difference is who is holding the keyboard at the end. Lead scoring, call summaries and drafted replies are AI features. Writing the stage change and the contact record, then asking one person to approve, is the category shift.
Will AI replace the CRM?
The record store is not the part under pressure. What changes is who maintains it, which moves from the person who was on the call to an agent that proposes changes for review.
