Kylon vs Zapier
Zapier connects your apps. Kylon does the work inside them.
Kylon is a company harness where agents join your team, understand your business context, and execute real work across the tools you already use.
01 Which one is the right answer
Not every team should pick the same one.
Zapier is the right answer when
You need a fixed pipeline between two SaaS tools, you want the same trigger to run the same steps every time, and you need an app Kylon does not connect to.
Kylon is the right answer when
The work is not a fixed sequence: it needs reading the context, judgement about this particular case, and a person to approve the result before it goes anywhere.

Where Zapier is the better tool
Zapier connects far more apps than we do, and a zap is deterministic: the same trigger runs the same steps every time. If what you need is a fixed pipeline between two SaaS tools, that is Zapier's job, not ours. What we trade that for is agents that read the context, do work that isn't a fixed sequence, and hand it back for review.
Questions people ask
- Does Kylon replace Zapier?
- Not for a fixed pipeline. If the same trigger should always run the same steps, a zap is the simpler and more predictable tool. Kylon is for the work in between, where the steps depend on the case and someone has to look at the result.
- Is there a Zapier connector in Kylon?
- No. Kylon connects to services directly, 3,000+ of them, including Gmail, Slack, Notion, GitHub, Salesforce, HubSpot, Jira and Google Sheets.
- Does anything get sent or saved automatically?
- Sensitive actions wait for approval before they execute, and agents only see and touch what you allow.

Keep the zaps that already work. Put an agent on the part that needs someone to read the context first.
