For startups and growth teams launching on X

Launch with the creators your buyers already follow.

01 · Find

Find the people your field listens to

Follower counts can be bought. Who follows a creator inside your field cannot.

  • A reference group of 20 to 50 practitioners in your field
  • Candidates ranked by how many of them follow each one
  • Bought views, competitor staff and the wrong audience language dropped, each with the reason

You approve: Who makes the shortlist.

First messages · 3 drafts

Sample data

One draft per channel. Lena lists a manager, so that one goes to him.

  • XX DMto Theo ParkDraft

Hi Theo, your thread on agents for small teams was the clearest I have read. Would you be interested in working with us on our launch?

  • GmailEmailto Lena Hart's managerDraft

Hi Sam, would Lena be open to one paid video on AI agents for small teams in early December? What is her rate for a dedicated video?

  • SlackSlack DMto Priya NairDraft

Hi Priya, we would love to work with you on a post for your community. Would you be interested?

02 · Reach out

Reach out channel by channel, one thread per creator

DMs go out from personal accounts, and nobody else can see where a deal stands.

  • X DMs that open by asking whether they want to work together
  • YouTube emails that say it is a paid video up front
  • The manager contacted instead, when a creator lists one
  • Every channel kept in one thread per creator, with past prices on the row

You approve: Every message before it goes out, and every rate.

Sample data
  • Positioned the way your brief says
  • The result on screen is real
  • A person approves any outside action
  • Marked as a paid partnership
  • The creator's own tracking link

The description uses the general sign-up link. Swap in Lena's own link so her signups count to her.

03 · Brief

Brief once, review the script before filming

Most teams see the script after the video is live.

  • One brief per launch, shared with every creator
  • Each script checked on five points: positioning, a real result on screen, a person approving any outside action, marked as paid, the creator's own tracking link
  • Feedback left as comments on the exact line

You approve: The script, before filming starts.

Engagement
1.6% like rate, 18% of it reposts
Who saw it

Cost
$9 per 1,000 views · $0.40 per engagement
Signups
96 from his link · $6 per signup

Above our line on every layer. I would renew at the same rate. His $6 per signup is saved as the anchor for next time.

04 · Measure

Read a paid post past its view count

A screenshot of views says little about who saw the post or what it brought.

  • Reach against the creator's own median, with paid promotion kept apart
  • Engagement quality: like rate and how much of it is reposts
  • Who saw it: practitioners in your field who followed or replied
  • Cost per thousand views, per engagement and per signup

X's published ranking code scores a post from the predicted chance that a viewer replies, reposts, quotes or likes it (source), so the read-out looks at those actions, not views alone.

You approve: Renew, adjust or drop each creator.

We are launching [product] on [date]. Plan the creator side of the launch with me in Kylon, one step at a time, and show me each result before you move on.

1. Roster: build our creator roster from https://kylon.io/app-templates/creator-crm-app-template.zip, following its setup guide.
2. Core circle: I will give you 20 to 50 practitioners in our field. Read who they follow on X and rank candidate creators by how many of them follow each one.
3. Checks: drop accounts with bought views or engagement, competitor employees and audiences outside our language. Tell me why each one was dropped.
4. Prices: for each creator left, estimate a fair rate from their recent posts and any past deals, and say how confident you are.
5. Outreach: draft the first message on each creator's channel. An X DM only asks whether they want to work with us. A YouTube email says it is a paid video and asks their rate. If a manager is listed, write to the manager.
6. Scripts: when a creator sends a script, check it against our brief and comment on the exact lines.
7. Read-out: for 14 days after each post goes live, track views against the creator's median, like rate, practitioners who engaged, cost per engagement and signups from their link.

Rules: never send a message, agree a rate or make a payment without my approval.

Questions people ask

Does the Agent send DMs or emails by itself?
No. It drafts each message in the channel you use, and a person on your team approves it before it goes out. Rates and payments wait for approval too.
How do we build a core circle outside AI?
Start from 20 to 50 people your buyers already trust in your field: practitioners, operators, well-known builders. The Agent reads who they follow and ranks creators by how many of them follow each one. Add or remove names as you learn.
Can creators an agency pitched sit next to the ones we found?
Yes. Agency picks go into the same roster with their source noted, get the same checks before you pay, and the same read-out after they post.
How do you tell bought views or engagement?
The Agent compares views with the creator's own median and looks at like and repost patterns, timing, who engaged and repeated reply templates. It calls heat bought only when two separate signals agree. For YouTube, see how to spot fake views.
Does this work beyond X?
Yes. The same steps run on YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok. On X, Instagram and TikTok the Agent reads follow lists; on LinkedIn and YouTube it reads which practitioners engage.
How much does it cost?
Plans start from Core at $50 a month. See pricing for credit amounts and the free trial.
