Learn how Kylon works. Then show us one you built.
Everything you need to learn is public and free to read. The application is what is gated. Four steps, each one with something you send us and a standard we score it against. Pass all four and the partner application opens.
Most partner programmes start with a form and a call, and the learning comes later, if at all. We do it the other way round. By the time you apply, you have built a working App with a colleague and explained how it carries a real business process. That is also the shortest path to your first customer, so the work is not wasted on us.
Read, send, get an answer in two working days
Read the material
All of it is on this site. There is nothing to unlock.
Send what the step asks for
A short form, a link, or a write-up. The standard is published next to it.
Get an answer in two working days
Pass, or notes on what to change. Sending it again is normal and costs nothing.
Pass all four and apply
The application form opens on your account when the fourth step is signed off.
What you send, and when
What Kylon is
Understand the idea before you sell it. You send us that idea in your own words, plus one real customer situation it fits.
About a day of your time.
Permissions and architecture
Four layers decide who sees what. You send us your own diagram and three answers to situations you will actually meet.
About a day of your time.
Build one yourself
You send us a live App with a connected account and at least one record that arrived on its own.
About three days of your time.
Build one with a colleague
You send us an App you built together and a write-up of the business process behind it, then we go through it with you on a call.
About five days of your time.
The partner application form stays closed until step 04 is signed off. Progress is recorded against your company, so colleagues can pick up where someone else left off.
Scored against published criteria, not impression
Every step is scored against criteria that are published on the step page, so nothing is decided on impression. A reviewer from our partner team answers within two working days. If something is short, you get the specific line that needs work rather than a rejection. Step 04 ends with a 30 minute call where we open the App and its run history with you.
Not a certificate you buy, and not a sales quota
There is no fee to take the path, and passing it does not mean we hand you leads on day one. It means we have both seen the same thing: that you can put Kylon in front of a customer and deliver it. Commercial terms belong in the conversation after step 04, not in a learning path.
Common questions
Do I need to finish the steps in order?
Yes. Each one assumes the one before it, and step 04 is reviewed against everything you sent earlier.
Can more than one person from my company take it?
Yes, and step 04 requires at least two of you. Progress is recorded against your company, not one individual.
What if my submission is returned?
Send it again with the changes. There is no limit and no penalty. Most partners revise at least one step.
How long does the whole path take?
Three to four weeks for most teams, most of it in steps 03 and 04, where you are building rather than reading.
We already run AI projects for our customers. Can we skip ahead?
The reading will be quick, but the deliverables stay. They are what we review, and experienced teams tend to clear the first two steps in a morning.
What happens after the fourth step?
The application form opens, and we talk about working together, including terms.
Start with step 01
The first step is a day of reading and five short answers. Nothing to install, nothing to pay for.
